Obituary of Wayne Marvin Raffard

Wayne passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents, Nellie (nee Vennard) and Elie Raffard; sister Jean Plosz, Uncle Harold and Aunt Ev; brother-in-law Ron Hyndman; and son Cameron Raffard. Left to mourn are his siblings, Jim Raffard, Stan (Deanna) Raffard, Francis (Eleanor) Raffard and Darlene Hyndman; his children, Deborah Raffard, Angela Vranic, Malinda Chanyi, and their mother Lois; Rachel Whitford, Marcel Whitford, Bonita Whitford and Jamie Whitford and their mother Pearl; grandchildren, Nolan Chanyi, Claire Chanyi, Mya Whitford and Malcom Hayes V; step grandchildren, Dwayne Katcheech, Gyles Katcheech, Cameron Katcheech and Lucas Whitford; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Wayne was a kind man, a crooner, if you will. He loved to make everyone laugh. He held a journeyman’s certificate in carpentry. Wayne was a perfectionist and enjoyed his work. He was an artistic and creative man. Wayne loved nature, animals, and especially, his children.
