Obituary of Gustav Adolph Neumann

Gustav passed away peacefully with two granddaughters by his side on Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2006; his parents, Adolf and Wilhelmine (Eigler) Neumann; sister Anne (Donald) Hobman; a brother in infancy; and brother-in-law Dick Achen. Gustav is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Brenda (Ron) Cuthbertson and their daughter Heather (Nic), grandson Alex; and their son Michael (Lindsey) and granddaughter Brynn; Debbie (Dale) Lewgood and their children Tracy, Chris (Jessica) and Nicole (Nelson) Towriss; and Denise Gamblin (Richard) and her daughter Melissa, grandchildren Jordan and Ethan; and her son Brendon (Bryna). Gustav was an avid sports fan, and was involved as a volunteer/coach/mentor for bowling, hockey, baseball and football. Gus was employed by the City of Regina for over 25 years. Special thanks to the nurses on 4B of the Pasqua Hospital, especially Darcy and Laura. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Tank officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
