Obituary of Marlene Dreger

MARLENE M. DREGER Marlene Margaret Dreger, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by her husband Clarence Dreger; parents, Robert and Kay Scott; grandchild Chase Dreger; brother Dale Scott; and special friend Wayne Ivey. Marlene is survived by her son Shawn (Leanne) of Regina, SK; daughter Sheri (Patrick) of Devon, AB; sister Kathy (Ted) of Arborg, MB; grandchildren, Dustin, Sawyer, Brayden, and Tye; great grand-child Seth; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Marlene was born on September 8, 1942 in Tuxford, SK to Bob and Kay Scott. After moving to Milestone, SK and attending high school, she met her future husband Clarence Dreger and together they had two children, Shawn and Sheri. Marlene already had experience after being sister/mother to Kathy with their 12 year age difference. After living in Milestone for many years, Marlene moved into Regina, to Alberta for a few years and then back to Regina in 2008, where she has resided until her passing. During the course of her life, Marlene had various hobbies and interests such as furniture refinishing, crafts, genealogy, the Royal Purple and most recently on the executive of the high rise family where she resided. One thing that was constant through her life is she was always busy and also spent many years assisting her parents with their restaurants in Tuxford and Corrine.
