So saddened to hear about the passing of Mrs Gendur. What a wonderful woman she was, and a pleasure to speak to whenever we met by chance. I grew up in Lestock with the Gendur family, and its much like losing a part of my own family. My sincere condolences to Daryl and family during this difficult time.

Our prayers go out to all of you in this dark time of our lives. Being from Lestock, I knew the Gendur Family very well and it is sad that one more "Lestock" soldier has fallen.
I am is Vancouver visiting my brother Garfield, so will not be able to attend the celebration of Vi's life, but know that both of us will be there in spirit.
