Dear Edie and family,
As Pastoral Care Co-ordinator here at Pioneer Village it was my pleasure to visit your Mom and minister Holy Communion to her and along with my volunteers porter her to Mass. She was always so grateful to be able to go to Mass and so pleased that the chapel was inside the building so she didn't have to go outside. I loved visiting her and hearing her tell me the story of her life. She was so proud of you and your family.
She always asked what she could do to repay myself and my volunteers. We told her to say a prayer for us, so she always reassured us that she was praying for us. We now pray that she is enjoying all the light and joys of heaven. We will miss her. May she rest in peace. May God wipe every tear from your eyes. You have lost a wonderful lady.
