Obituary of Ann Radway

ANN RADWAY May 17, 1922 – November 22, 2013 Ann Radway (nee Schulte), late of Extendicare Sunset, Regina, SK passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband Bill; parents, Caspar and Rose; brothers, John (Stella), Andrew (Marie and Dorothy), Edward, Clarence and Francis; sister Cecilia (Rusty) Weisgerber; and brothers-in-law Ed Osiowy and Merle Norell. Ann is survived by brothers, Lawrence (Elaine) and Al (Dot); sisters, Dickie Osiowy, Alice (Al) Molle, Marge Norell and Darleen (Geoff) Topp; sisters-in-law Aline, Genevieve and Jean; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was born Anna Elsebeth Schulte in Englefeld, SK on May 17, 1922. Ann moved to Regina in 1943 where she started a business course and met her future husband, Bill Radway. In 1945 they were married and remained in Regina. They spent many winters in Arizona where Ann could continue her much loved sport of golfing. She was a member of the Wascana Golf and Country Club, Catholic Women’s League and the Regina Arts and Crafts Club. For many years, Ann volunteered at Red Cross Blood Services. A special thank you to the caring staff at Extendicare Sunset who compassionately and tenderly cared for Ann. She loved to be called “Gramma Ann” by the staff. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King R.C. Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Donations, in memory of Ann, may be made to Family Support Group, Extendicare Sunset, 260 Sunset Drive, Regina, SK, S4S 2S3.
