Obituary of Jean Provost

It is with deep sadness that the family of Dorothy Jean Provost announce her passing on November 23, 2013 in Saskatoon at the age of 92. Jean was born in Calgary, AB in 1921. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Dorothy Renouf; her sister Lillian in 1933; her husband Wilfred in 1972; her daughter Beverley in 2009; and her sister Ann in 2010. She is survived by her loving son Robert (Sharon) of Saskatoon; grandsons, Patrick (Amber) of Vegreville, AB, and Tom of Prince Albert; six great-grandchildren; and sister Marion of Grande Prairie, AB as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean and her family lived most of their lives in Regina. She was employed by the Regina General Hospital working in the nursing office. Jean enjoyed visiting the family farm near Swift Current and her stays at the Pickerel Point cabin in Big River with her son and family. She moved to Saskatoon in 2009 after the passing of her daughter Beverley to be near her son Robert (Sharon) and family. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK Monday, December 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
