Obituary of Rhonda Nelson

RHONDA NELSON It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rhonda (Sophie) Lynn Nelson nee: Frederickson. Rhonda passed away at age 59 and was predeceased by her parents, Al and Bea Frederickson. Her memory will live on forever in those who loved her. Left to mourn the loss of Mom is her husband George Germin; daughter Robin Williams (John and Elizabeth Stulberg); son Quinn Nelson, Ryan (Trista and Kianah) Germin, David (Melanie) Germin; sister Carla (Ed) Desnoyers; nephew Jason (Summer) Frederickson; niece Brittney (Rod) Hunter; niece Madison Desnoyers; her beloved pets Koko, Fez, Cruiser, Maggie, Charlie; and many dear friends and extended family. Mom was born July 12, 1954 in Vanguard SK. Mom graduated from Yorkton Regional high school in 1972 and went on to complete her RN at Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon. Mom started her nursing career in 1976 and worked at the Regina General Hospital for over 30 years before her retirement in 2009. Mom had a tremendous passion for music and learned to play the flute, bongos, piano and loved to sing a tune on the karaoke or see her favorite musical act live. Mom enjoyed spending time with her family and pets and nurtured both with a soft heart. Mom liked to keep things simple so in lieu of a service, please enjoy your next glass of wine, concert, or hot bath and think of her love.
