Obituary of Leonard Ernest Thomas Bradbury

LEONARD ERNEST THOMAS BRADBURY On Sunday, December 15, 2013 "Curly" passed away at the age of 89, following a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife Margaret in 1998; and his brothers, Douglas and Gordon, Curly is survived by his two daughters, Barbara Naviaux and Brenda (David) Dedman; his five grandchildren, Brandi (Adam) Schedlosky, Bradley (Krista) Naviaux, Corrie (Clayton) Heimbecker, Kelly (Travis) Medloski, and Michael Naviaux; his eleven great-grandchildren who he adored, Emma, Julia, and Blake Schedlosky, Braden, Jada, and Draven Naviaux, Brodie, Carter, and Bella Heimbecker, Tanner and Riley Medloski; his niece Maxine Colley; and his special friend Bette Gray. After serving in the Navy, Curly joined the Regina Fire Department in April 1947 and retired in December 1985 as a Battalion Chief. Curly was very proud of his daughters and their families. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Robert A. Kitchen officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Curly’s memory, may be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 – 8th Street, Saskatoon, SK, S7H 0S5.
