Obituary of Lisa Schnell

LISA SCHNELL With great sadness the family of Lisa Schnell announce her passing on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Lisa is survived by her husband Willi; her children, Monica, Henry (Debbie), Doris (John) and Eric (Denise); her grandchildren, Corey, Nicole (Peter), Justin, Matthew (Sarah), Chelsey, Jason (Kristin), Hayley, Sydney and Lucas; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Gertrude and Hilde and brothers, Henry and Hans-Wilhelm, all of Germany. Lisa was predeceased by her parents, Heinrich and Magarete Stüven and siblings, Willy, Erich, Hermann, Ella, Alfred and Adolph. She was a loving and incredible mother to four children and a devoted wife for 61 years, who took great pride in taking care of her home and family, as well as contributing to the family business. Funeral Service will be held at New Hope Lutheran Church, 370 McIntosh Street North, Regina, SK on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment to follow. The family would like to express their appreciation to the following individuals for their wonderful care of Lisa over the years, Dr. W. Klassen, Dr. N. Ficzyc, Dr. D. Hunter, Dr. J. Rudovika, Dr. R. Hughes and Dr. P. Duffy as well as the staff of Regina Qu’Appelle Home Care and Solace Care Home. Flowers most gratefully declined.
