Pastor Bob began his Ministry at Quinton Lutheran Church and we continued to know him as the pastor at Christ Lutheran Church in Regina. He was there for us at our father's passing, weddings of myself and my sister, Lorena; baptim of Trinity, and so many other occasions. His passing will leave a great hole in our hearts/lives and whatever else I can say will only echo the words of all the people, so many, that he has touched over the years. It is somewhat fitting that he went to be with our Lord on Christmas Eve and it had to be an express elevator straight to Heaven where I think he will continue to watch over us all. Our sincerest heartfelt condolences to his family and all who loved him, there are many...from the Plohr family including Sandi and Lawrence, Kay, Edwin, Myrna, Owen, Kailey, Dwayne, Lorena and Trinity.

Dear Sandy and Family,
I too am saddened to hear of your loss or I guess I could say our loss. Bob was a great Pastor not only for Christ Lutheran but for the Christian faith and the wider community. His concern and compassion for people from all walks of life often went beyond expectations. I met Bob in the 70's when I started university and stayed at residence at the Seminary in Saskatoon. Bob was also in residence and was a Seminarian ready to graduate. I remember his wisdom and guidance to a young student which sometimes included late evening conversations. I have always appreciated his gentle and humble presence. We grieve for ourselves because we know how much he did for others and how much he could have still done, given the time. Yet our hope lies in what we do not yet see. May God give you strength in your healing and may Bob's memory, like his ministry, always be a blessing.

To the Leeson Family,
Our hearts and prayers go out to you for your tremendous loss. I first met Bob over thirty years ago when we both started studying Tae Kwon Do together at Master Kim's studio. We have remained friends ever since. He subsequently married Karen and I in a little country church that we belonged to at the time; and when my father was too ill to attend our daughter's baptismal, he moved the ceremony to the family home, so everyone could be present. This was the manner in which Bob lived his life ... always there for others and doing whatever he could to make our lives better. He asked for nothing in return! He was such an inspiration to us and I know to many others. Bob, we will remember you and love you always. Rest in Peace my good friend.

Despit having moved in overlapping circles for more than 20 years, I only came to know Pastor Bob over the past few years, beginning with our shared work on the Rosemont Neighbourhood Cross Walk for Good Friday each year. I know of his valuable ministry with alcoholics and addicts as well as his ministry over several years at the Regina Correctional Centre. While he worked in the context of a traditional congregation, it was his ministry to those on the margins I will always remember. May he rest in peace and rise in glory. - Fr. Malcolm French, St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, Rosemont, Regina.

We want to express our deepest sympathy concerning Bob's passing. During our years at Christ Lutheran we came to appreciate his sincere love for humanity and his kindness towards all people he met.
It is tragic when someone with the spirit that Bob possessed passes away, but it is gratifying to know that he is now in Heaven playing guitar and singing with the Band of Angels.
Sandy, we pray that you and your family are comforted in knowing that Bob was deeply loved by many and that he will be missed and remembered fondly.

Dear Sandy and the Leeson family.
My wife Linda joins me in extending our deepest sympathy to you on the very sad loss of our friend Pastor Bob aka Bob L.
Bob Leeson was one of the finest persons I have ever met. Over the many years I have known Bob he was of immense help to so many people, including me. Bob was so approachable and "down to earh" and always "attracted by his example".
I first met Bob when he began his Lutheran Ministry at Grace Lutheran Church in Wynyard when I was working for the Sask Alcoholism Commission in Yorkton. It was readily apparant from his work there that Bob had been called to be a spiritual helper to all who came to him. Bob carried his message of experience, strength and hope with dignity.
I hope that you can take comfort in knowing that his pain and suffering are over and that he touched so many people in his lifetime.
Best wishes. Dave Morgan

My sincere condolences to the family of Bob Leeson. I remember him most as the pastor who made me believe that my thoughts about spirituality were as important as anything I had read or been told. I also remember him fondly as a regular guy making music with us in Carol's kitchen. I loved those jam sessions. I also must say how much I appreciated his open sharing of each day in his cancer journey. I know that that took courage and energy.
Sincerely, Gail Lederhouse

Dearest Sandy and family;
It is with the deepest of sadness we send our sympathy to you on the passing of Bob. His loss is felt profoundly by us, but also by the many he served and ministered to. Bob was a truly unique person who walked the line between the spiritual and the physical world, as we know it, with grace and acceptance. He was indeed a servant of God and lived his life in accordance with His teachings. We are proud to have been his friends and are grateful for that. It was once said that "We think we are human beings trying to have a spiritual experience; when in fact we are spiritual beings trying to have a human experience." Based on that, Bob was the most spiritual person we have ever known. We mourn his loss, we miss him and he will always have a special place in our hearts. May you find peace as you let him go. Bless you all!
