Obituary of Bernadette Lipinski

Bernadette passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the age of 62 with her family at her side after suffering a stroke. Family and friends will forever treasure the last Christmas they enjoyed with this special person. Bernie was predeceased by her father Walter Mohr. Mom will be lovingly remembered by Ernie, her husband of 42 years; son Ryan; daughter Natosha and son-in-law Jonathan Potts; grandson Joseph Potts; mother Stella Mohr; brothers Clark Mohr, Rodney (Bev) and Ross (Paddi); sister Michele Wagner (Darrel); and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Mom was a kind and sensitive person who saw the good in everyone. Simple and straightforward, she was a loving and nurturing wife, mother, and grandmother. Gardening, spending time with her grandson, country music and enjoying her seasonal camping spot at Regina Beach were some of Mom’s greatest joys. She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. A Celebration of Bernie’s Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ron Andree officiating. A private family interment will take place in Earl Grey at a later date. Friends wishing to make a donation in Bernie’s memory are asked to contribute to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8.
