Obituary of Judith Elizabeth Punshon

Surrounded by family, Judith “Judy” Elizabeth Punshon of Regina passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Judy was born in Weyburn, SK on May 23, 1957. Predeceased by parents Alfred and Marjorie Genereux and sister Yvonne. She will be lovingly remembered by husband Dwight, son Michael (Kristy), grandson Aden, brother Allen (Joanne) Genereux, sisters Diane (Barney) Kozakewycz, Kathy Genereux, Barb Stef (Kyle Kilbreath) and numerious nieces and nephews. Following graduation from Balfour Collegiate, Judy worked for the federal government for over 35 years with Public Workers and Government Services. She took great pride in the house they built together at Buffalo Pound Lake and enjoyed fishing, boating, tending to her flowers and sewing. A special thanks to the staff on 3B at the Pasqua Hospital, Allen Blair Cancer Centre and Dr. Kakumanu for the excellent care they provided. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jamie Bushell officiating.
