Obituary of Philippina Fowler/Novenski

Philippina passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Pasqua Hospital on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Novenski in 1975; son Byron in 1981; husband Allen Fowler in 1995; parents, Wendelin and Magdalena Schwab; brothers Joe (Rita) Schwab, Ambrose Schwab, Frank Schwab and Gabe Schwab; sister Kay (Basil) Cowie; brothers-in-law, Pete Selinger, Joe Novenski, Harold Delainey, Lawrence Nadeau and Jordon Herle; and stepson Jim Fowler. Left to cherish Philippina’s memory are her daughter Leeann (Kent) Debert and grandchildren Jaxon and Randi; sisters Mary Selinger, Theresia Novenski; Regina Delainey, Maggie Nadeau, Ann Herle, and Eva (Claude) Dionne; sisters-in-law Ethel Schwab, Sally Schwab, Margie Schwab, Freda Hesketh and Lynn Parsons; stepdaughter Karen (Doug) Bird; stepdaughter-in-law Marna Allan; stepgrandchildren Kylee, Jason, Jonathon, Megan and families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass and Celebration of Philippina’s life will be held at Resurrection Parish, 3155 Windsor Park Road, Regina on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with the Very Rev. Stephen Bill, V.F. presiding. Special thanks to staff at Palliative Care, Pasqua Hospital, General Hospital, and Emergency Services.
