Obituary of Marie Neumann

Marie passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2014. She was born December 24, 1913 in a little village in Derelui, Romania. In 1932, she married Josef Neumann and they had three children, Richard, Erna and Walter. In 1939 all people of German descent that lived in Derelui were moved to Germany. From 1940 – 1950, the Neumann family resided in Germany. In 1951, with the help of relatives in Canada, the Neumann family immigrated to Canada. Marie lived in Regina from 1951 until her death on January 24, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband Josef in 1999. Marie is survived by her three children; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The last year of her life was spent in Pioneer Village.
