My name is Steven and I had the privilege of working with Sean a few years back when he first started. Sean was an amazing person. I was always amazed at how much Sean knew about any topic, especially the technical field. Sean never had to jump in or blurt out an answer. He just knew it and was humble - truly an amazing attribute for someone so intelligent. Sean was a worker. Loved to be at work and was good at it. We took our breaks, but when we got back Sean was back digging into it.
I run into Sean several times over the past couple months. Always smiling and nodding a hello. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m really going to miss seeing Sean and our usual “hi Sean”, “hi Steve” nods in the mall and at work.
We were a much better company with Sean. We were a much better world having Sean with us.
I’m going to miss Sean

My sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends of Sean. He was so passionate about his work, he took on every challenge with a smile. No matter how difficult the task at hand we could always count on Sean to not only come up with a brilliant fix, but keep us all laughing and smiling while doing so. He will be missed by all of us who had the pleasure of working with him. Although not all of us in our office in Saskatoon had the pleasure of working with him side by side, most of us just on changes in the middle of the night or a quick telephone conference here or there. No matter what the encounter with Sean it was always pleasant. We all knew of Sean from his reputation. Sean was highly respected in our department, we even named him the SMSC Guru. The only person in the company who knew it inside and out. When I say he will be missed, it's not only for his work, but as just an all around wonderful human being.
