Obituary of Sidney Leonard Stilwell

SIDNEY LEONARD STILWELL Sidney passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Regina, SK at the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Violet and Wilfred Stilwell; brothers, Gerald, George, Harry and Reginald; and sister Enid. Sidney will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years Isabelle; daughters, Sharon (Clayton) Yeo and Trudy (Ron) Folk; grandchildren, Robert (Darlene) Yeo, Jason (Michelle) Yeo, Ashley Folk and Colin Folk; great-grandchildren, Myllis Yeo, Austin Yeo, Mikisha Yeo and Kayla Yeo; as well as other relatives and friends. Sidney enjoyed socializing, loved to tell stories, bringing smiles and laughter to the faces of everyone he met. He spent many years selling lumber all over Saskatchewan, making lifelong friends wherever he went. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the caring staff at the Veteran’s Unit 3-5 at the Regina Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sidney, may be made to a charity of your choice.
