Obituary of Luis M. Leon Almonacid

LUIS M. LEÓN ALMONACID January 8, 1947 – January 30, 2014 Luis passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2014. Predeceased by his loving wife, Martha Libia; parents, Luis and Inés; and brother Jorge. Luis is survived by his son Luis G. (Mhea) and daughter Angelica (Tom) Howell; grandchildren, Luis C., Lily, Mariquita, Macquarie and Maclaren. He is also survived by his brother Mario; sisters, Clara and Lucia as well as many other relatives in Colombia. Luis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He dedicated his life to providing his family with security, happiness and love. His warmth and kindness touched all those who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
