Obituary of Elaine Marie Kramer

ELAINE MARIE KRAMER March 15, 1925 May 24, 2012 Elaine passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the age of 87. She was born in Regina and was the eldest child of Sylvester and Marie Kramer. She had a long career with the Government of Canada and also worked in the accounting department of Simpsons. Elaine was a devoted daughter who took care of her mother until Maries passing at the age of ninety-eight. She donated her time and talent to St. Martins Parish for several years through her volunteer work with the Catholic Womens League and the choir. Elaine was also a member of the German choir. She loved to play the piano, sing, paint, fish, and play bridge. Elaine was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Yvonne and Sylvia; brother-in-law, Lennard; and sister-in-law, Dolores. She is survived by her brother Sylvester, of Calgary. She leaves to mourn her nieces and nephews; Bryan Hoogeveen (Matt), Janice Wilkes, Tom Hoogeveen, Patrick Kramer (Mary), Lorraine Holmes (Peter), Stuart Kramer (Janice), Catherine Carpenter (Craig), Christine Rutledge (Eamonn), Kelly Moynihan (Kathy), Kerry Moynihan (Helene), Valerie McAlpine (Paul), Maureen OBrien (Kevin) and Paul Moynihan (Colleen); and her brother-in-law, Terry Moynihan (Marg). The family would like to thank Elaines nephew, Tom Hoogeveen, for his kindness and dedication to Elaine for the past several years. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin de Porres R.C. Church, 4720 Castle Road, Regina, SK on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gary Lindenbach celebrant. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
