Obituary of Jean Isobel Wooley

JEAN ISOBEL WOOLEY On February 24, 2014, Jean died peacefully at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice in Regina, at the age of 88. Born to Annie and Angus Nicholson on June 28, 1925, in Bruce Mines, Ontario, Jean was married to Rev. Charles Wooley in 1948 and moved to Regina in 1964. A great cook, piano player and dancer, her generosity, friendship, and razor-sharp wit were a gift to all who knew her. Predeceased by her parents; her sister Eileen; brother-in-law Woodrow; sister-in-law Vada; and her sweetheart Charles (in 2010), Jean is survived by sons, Herb and Greg (Shannon); grandchildren, Jenny, Timothy (Melissa), Alex (Tara Jean), Hannah, Rita and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Liam and Austin; sister Maebelle (Raymond); sister-in-law Edra (Jim); and six beloved nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tricia Gerhard officiating.
