Obituary of William John Filleul

WILLIAM JOHN “BILL” FILLEUL Bill passed away in Regina suddenly on February 18, 2014. He was born on Feb 4, 1930 and lived his life in Regina, SK. Much beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Bill was predeceased by his parents, Myrtle and Phillip Filleul; and his siblings, Edna Irwin, Phillip, Alfred, Walter, Harold, Edward, and Yvonne Kleisinger. Left to mourn are several nieces and nephews. Bill never married but loved his family dearly, taking several trips out to the coast. As a boy Bill attended Connaught School. He was a wonderful artist and enjoyed his career as a carpenter. Many of the buildings and homes in Regina reflect his dedication to detail and fine craftsmanship. Bill volunteered for many years with the Regina Floral Conservatory nurturing his love of flowers. He was a member of the Regina Gladiolas Society, and was an avid Square dancer, dancing for over 20 years with the Wesley Whirlers Square Dance Club.
