Obituary of Isabelle Maggie Jeannotte

ISABELLE MAGGIE JEANNOTTE August 5, 1934 June 5, 2012 It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Isabelle Maggie Jeannotte, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Isabelle passed away at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice with family at her side after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Moms memory will be forever cherished by her loving children, Debby (Bob) Hischebett, Wendy (George) Smythe, Donna (Gerald) Jeannotte, Cindy Jeannotte, Reg (Marj) Jeannotte, Don Jeannotte; brother Bernie (Fran) Weimer; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Isabelle was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Bernard Jeannotte (October 7, 2011); parents Valentine and Mary Weimer; her first husband Charles Westfield; sister Catherine and brother Joseph. Mom was born in Regina and spent her formative years living in Ontario. Her family returned to Saskatchewan when mom was eleven and resided in Kendal where her father owned the local gas station. Mom worked for Sears for a number of years. Mom and dad retired to Mission Lake and lived there until 2004 when they moved into Fort QuAppelle. Upon their retirement, mom and dad spent many winters in Yuma. Mom moved into Regina in April 2012. A Service of Remembrance will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Zimmer, OMI officiating. Flowers gratefully declined, friends so wishing may make a donation, in Isabelles name, to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK, S4R 8P6, or the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, 204 3775 Pasqua Street, Regina, SK, S4S 6W8. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to moms long time family physician in Fort QuAppelle, Dr. Jan Lombard, the staff at Heritage House Wintergreen Estates and the staff at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for the excellent care they provided to mom.
