Obituary of June Schmeltzer

JUNE SCHMELTZER September 1, 1947 – March 16, 2014 Peacefully, June passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Stella Buchinski. June will be remembered by her husband of forty-six years Norman Schmeltzer, her children, Lisa (Jamie) Pluhowy and Jody (Jill) Schmeltzer; grandchildren, Jessica, Madisyn, Nicholas, Noah; and her four furry “grandpets”. Also left to cherish her memory are her two sisters, and one brother; as well as many other family members and many considered family by choice. A Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK on Friday March 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. An interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made, in June’s memory, to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK, S4R 8P6.
