Obituary of Flavio Hernan Farias

FLAVIO HERNÁN FARÍAS MORA October 23, 1930 - March 19, 2014 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, husband, grandfather and great-grand father. Flavio was born and raised in Ercilla (Hacienda Valdivia) province of Malleco, Chile. He left Chile in February 1975. Flavio lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina and came to Québec, Canada in 1980 at the age of 49. In 1982 he left Québec to come to Regina, SK where he lived with all his familly for 33 years. Flavio was predeceased by his mother Clara Nieves Mora Godoy; father Juan Farías Padilla; brothers, Juan, Raul, Miguel; and his sister Amalia. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Ana Luisa Farías; daughters, Clara (Justo) and Ana (Carlos); sons, Flavio, Alberto and César; grandchildren, Tito (Carla), Flavia (Mauricio), Sussy (Tim), Hernán (Ely), Joan (Claudia), Marcela, Lucila (George), Ryan, Anibal (Mayra), Camilo, Karlla, and Flavio the 5th; great-grandchildren, Valentina, Sofía, Antonia, Pablo, Felipe, Shayla, Camila, Tito Jr., Cristian, Ursula, Adones, Adriano, Silas and Mina. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina, SK on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Lindenbach presiding.
