Obituary of Theresa Grad

THERESA GRAD April 24, 1919 – April 5, 2014 Theresa passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the age of 94 with her family by her side. She was born in Kendal, SK on April 24, 1919. Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Martin and Agnes (nee Bachman) Grad; stepfather Lorenz Leier; brothers, Walter (Gertrud) Grad, John (Katherine) Leier and Edward Leier; sister Mary Warnke; and brother-in-law Daniel Eberle. She is survived by her sister Rose Eberle; brothers, Stephen (Jean) Leier and Frank (Barbara) Leier; sister-in-law Jean E. Leier; brother-in-law Jerry Warnke; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the EMS, the staff of Unit 3E and Emergency at the Regina General Hospital, Cliff Geiger, and the staff at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for the loving care that they gave to Theresa. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 2026 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Vitalis Azike, celebrant. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Donations in memory of Theresa may be made to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK, S4R 8P6 or to a charity of your choice.
