Dear Floyd and Family,
It was with sadness that we heard of Gerty's recent passing, into the loving arms of Jesus. Her endless energy and devotion to serving the Lord, with the organizational gifts that God gave her, stand strong in our many fond memories of our years at Westhill Baptist Church. I will miss Gerty. I enjoyed seeing her on Sundays very much. I am out of the country and cannot make it to the funeral however Ed will attend. I would like to express my sincere condolences to Floyd and their family. Even though we all know we will see Gerty once again, for now we miss her!

We were so sorry to hear of your mum’s passing. I remember so clearly her warmly welcoming me into your home, sitting at the kitchen table, or later, catch-up chats at Costco, and always, that wonderful smile of hers…a lifetime ago, but such vivid, lovely memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you miss that beautiful lady who was everything a mum should be. Take good care of each other and give your dad a big hug.
