Obituary of Allie Fereby MacDonald

ALLIE “MICKEY” FEREBY MACDONALD (nee McGuire) Allie passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her husband Cliff Lewis; her parents; and her four bothers. Allie is survived by her two children; Kerry (Margaret) and Todd (Leslie); her two grandchildren, Sasha and Ryan; her three sisters, Ella Johnson, Leta Goodwin and Doris Collins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Allie was born in Kipling SK and later moved to Regina. She attended Normal School and taught in Lipton before returning to Regina to work at Government Telephones, where she met and married her first husband Grant Macdonald. Allie went on to become a realtor and eventually opened up her own real estate company – Associated Realty. After her divorce, she met and then married Cliff Lewis, who unfortunately passed away only a couple years after their marriage due to complications from a kidney transplant. Allie continued to live and work in Regina operating a number of different businesses until finally retiring. She will be sorrowfully missed by those who knew and loved her. Her family would like to thank all of the staff at Extendicare Parkside, north wing for all of the care and support they provided Allie during her stay and the staff of the General Hospital Renal Unit. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations, in Allie’s name, to a charity of one’s choice. A Get Together to remember Allie will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
