Obituary of Lavern Jake Hoffert

LAVERN JAKE HOFFERT 1941 2012 Lavern passed away peacefully on June 9, 2012 with family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Steve and Barbara Hoffert; in-laws Anton and Elizabeth Geiger; and brother-in-law Ron Geiger; Lavern is survived by his best friend and wife of 49 years, Corinne; son David (Karen) and their children Kyle and Brant; daughter Judy (Jeff) Metz and their children Nicole (fianc Tyler), and Adam (special friend Taylor); sister Marlene (Conrad) Goetz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude (Veronica) Geiger, Evelyn Geiger, Donna (Denis) Obrigewitsch; as well as many special nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family would like to thank the special doctors and caregivers who monitored his journey. Funeral Mass will be held at Good Samaritan R.C. Church, 425 Broad Street N., Regina SK on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Koep presiding. A private family interment will be held at Riverside Memorial Park.
