Obituary of Eugenia Argue

EUGENIA ARGUE (Nee Ignatescue) Eugenia, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, ascended to be with the Creator on Thursday, May 8, 2014. She was an extraordinary person to those who loved her, learned from her, and knew her. Eugenia was born on October 7, 1924 in Regina SK. She was preceded by her husband, Senator Hazen Robert Argue; Mother Maria Ignatescue; Father Arcade Ignatescue; and brother Tommy Ignatescue. Eugenia will be missed by her children, Lynda Argue, Greg Argue (Vicki Demerse), Susan Argue (Paul Murphy) and Dawn Marie; her brother George (Florence) Ignatescue; sister-in-law Lucille Kroeker; brother-in-law Iain Mentiplay; her grandchildren, Natasza Lipinski (Nathan Puscus), Jennylyn Spinarski (JD Spelliscy), Maria Spinarski (David Hansen), Elizabeth Spinarski (Trevor Common), Jennifer Argue (Kevin Huber), Erin (Craig) Albert, Steven (Sarah) Argue, Robyn (Chris Pollock) Argue-Pollock, Jacklyn Demerse (Saad Abbasi), Jessica Murphy, Angelica (William) Graham, James Murphy, Hibist Marie, Birkinish Marie, Picolo Marie, Kemer Marie, Robel Marie, and Raymond Kahnapace. And Great-Grandchildren, Matthew, Amy, Molly, John, Kobe, Jettah, Alex, Abbey, Jalen, Jenny, Julie, Noah, Nyla, Isaac, Jackson, Benjamin, Kassahun, and Mariye. Eugenia will also be missed by numerous friends who shared her spirituality and enjoyed her weekly Group Sessions for over forty years. These friendships were important to her and helped make her a unique and exceptional person. Eugenia was a gifted artist, spiritualist teacher and political activist. Her art, spirituality and leadership have inspired those who knew her to make this world a better place. A Memorial to Celebrate Eugenia's Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. Luncheon to follow. Private interment to be held in Riverside Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eugenia, may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Southern Saskatchewan, 917 Albert Street, Regina, SK, S4R 2P6.
