Obituary of Nick Litowski

NICK LITOWSKI Nick, late of Avonlea, SK passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the age of 79 years. He was predeceased by his parents; sister Ann; brother Mike; niece Wendy; and nephews, Leslie and Calvin. Nick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Irene; daughter Charlene (Raymond) Jelinski and grandsons, Josh (Jessica) and Mark (Daneen); sisters, Martha, Clara and Dora; brothers, George and Wes; as well as sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Nick was a gentle soul that cherished his family and friends and will be remembered for his kindness, helpfulness, smile and pleasant easy-going personality. Thank you to the physicians and nurses at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic as well as the staff at Unit 3B of the Pasqua Hospital for all your support and care. A Public Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nick’s memory, may be made to the Avonlea and District Lions Club, General Delivery, Avonlea, SK, S0H 0C0 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3.
