Obituary of Dorothy Mickleborough

DOROTHY MICKLEBOROUGH 1927 – 2014 Dorothy passed away suddenly with her family at her side on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. She was predeceased by her loving husband Warren; parents, James Gorman and Eva Ballman; stepfather John Ballman; sister Loretta; and brother John. Leaving to cherish Dorothy’s memory is her daughter Valerie (Allan) Miller; granddaughters Vanessa (Shawn) and their children, Kaiden, Cole, Carter; Melissa (Evan) and their daughter Matilda; son Dwight (Pat) Mickleborough; grandson Barry (Leah) and their children, Nixin and Pressli; granddaughters Amy (Paul) and their children, McKinley and Luke; Joni (Scott) and their children, Mathew and Jacey; daughter Cindy (Roy) Steele, grandsons Deon (Keisha) and their child Dru; Dustin (Krissy), Michael (Nicole) and their children, Charlee, Emma and Sophie, granddaughters Nicole and her daughter Kara, and Janelle (Brendon). She is also survived by many close friends and relatives. Dorothy was born on May 29, 1927. She grew up on the family farm in Gray, SK and settled in Grand Coulee, SK. Dorothy met the love of her life, Warren, and together they raised their three children on their family farm. She was dedicated to her family and very proud of their many accomplishments. Dorothy took every opportunity to attend the many activities of her great-grandchildren. Mom will be dearly remembered as a caring, giving person who was full of life and cherished every moment with her loved ones. Funeral Service will be at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in memory of Dorothy to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 - 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8.
