Obituary of Peter Grzyb

PETER GRZYB On Monday, May 19, 2014, Peter Grzyb passed away peacefully at the age of 84. He was born April 29, 1930, in Regina and attended St. Augustine School and Campion College. Peter started his career in the printing industry and later became a letter carrier for Canada Post, retiring after 23 years. He enjoyed his retirement reading, listening to music, and gardening with his wife, Clara, with whom he had been married 57 years. Peter was predeceased by his father, Stanislaw Grzyb; mother, Franciska “Frances” Loszchuk (nee Wojciechowski); stepfather, John Loszchuk; brother Joseph "Joe" Grzyb; and brother-in-law, Peter Dizy. He is survived by his wife, Clara; daughter, Kathleen (Graham); son, Mark (Laura); and grandchildren Keith, Pamela, and Matthew. Also survived by siblings John (Elsie) Grzyb, Helen Dizy, and Frank (Edith) Loszchuk. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina, SK with Rev. John Baptist Okai, celebrant, on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff of 3-5 at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for their excellent care and support during the past two and a half years.
