Obituary of David Blakley

DAVID BLAKLEY David Blakley passed away at home on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 after a hard fought battle against cancer. Born in Lumsden, Saskatchewan on April 29, 1942, to Grant and Eileen Blakley, David was a draftsman with the Federal Government in Regina until 1974 when he, his wife Jeanette and their four children moved to Spy Hill to farm. In 2001 they moved to Regina to manage St. Basils Manor where he resided until his passing. David is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette; son Blair (Shannon) and their three children, Brittany, Kayla and Jeremy; son Wade (Laura) and their two children, Aiden and Serena; daughter Tonya (Ian) along with her daughters Kelsa and Asja (David) and their son Taves; and daughter Therese (Tom) and their children, Daulton, Carson and Sierra; as well as many siblings and other loved ones. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, TONIGHT, Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Pauls Anglican Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with The Very Reverend Michael H.
