Obituary of Elinore Ann West

ELINORE ANN WEST (nee Bungener) “Because I could not stop for death He kindly stopped for me” Emily Dickinson It is with sorrow but also happiness for a life well lived that we announce the passing of our mother. Mom was born on September 20, 1935 and died peacefully with her family by her side on June 12, 2014. Mom was the only child of Henry and Hilda Bungener. Because of this, Mom was determined to have a large family and once she made up her mind, there was no stopping her -- she is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ernie; seven children, Diane (Bill) Woolhether, Linda (Steve) Lane, Nori (Darrell) Toth, Dan (Cathy) West, Angie (Geo) d’Eon, Jim West (Grace) and Shannon (Brian) McIntyre; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Pasqua Hospital Emergency department and especially the staff of Main West, Regina Pioneer Village for their wonderful care. The Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elinore, may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Saskatchewan, 610 Duchess Street, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 0R1.
