Obituary of Adolph Bast

ADOLPH BAST Adolph was born April 7, 1926 and passed away peacefully at home in Regina, SK on June 15, 2012 at the of age 86 after a battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, John and Amelia (Ell) Bast; parents-in-law, Gus (Rose) Ehman; brothers, George and Sebastian (Katherine), and sister Mary (Frank) Gelsinger; sister-in law Elvira, brothers-in-law, Ben Bitz and Martin Benz; brother and sister in-law Albert (Elsie) Ehman; three grandchildren, Mark Yaskowich, Brett Bast, and Kaleena Hudon. Adolph is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Dorothy; brothers, John (Hilda) and Gregor; sisters, Whilhelmina Bitz and Theresa (Horst) Charlee; brother-in-law Harold (Helen) Ehman. He is also survived by his children: Carolyn (Bernard) Yaskowich: Kirk (Sandra), Brady, Emma; Kyla; Marty (Tina) and Lucas; Vern (Maylyn): Kristin (Jamie) Perzan, Paxton; Kraig (Lisa) and Bauer; David; Dennis (Arlene): Dallas, Dylan; Janet (Leonard) Roy: Matthew (Ashley), Keeley, Kage; Stephen; Nathan (Dee), Walker; Aaron (Hallie); Patrick; Lorna (Andrew) Thomsen: Liese; Tom: Katelyn, Sarah, great-granddaughter, Hailey Hudon; Jacqueline (Rob) Geis: Leah and son, Rhett, Martin, Jacob; James (Leanne): Quinn, Sydney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at St. Peters R.C. Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina, SK. Prayers will be held June 19th at 7:00 pm; Adolphs life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on June 20th at 10:00 am with Rev. John-Baptist Okai officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
