She was predeceased by her parents, Florence and Frank Emmins; her grandparents, Bert and Hilda Earis and Tom and Violet Emmins; Uncle Don Siegel; Aunt Dolores Earis; Uncle Jim and Aunt Margaret Emmins; and her cousin Rodney Earis. Barb is survived by her brother Elwin; sister Dianne; sister Karen (Gerald) Zimmer and her nephews Mitchell and Kendal, niece Stephanie; and a special god son Draven Gelsinger; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Barb was born in Regina, completing her schooling at Cochrane High School. Growing up she attended Myer’s School of Dance, Girl Guides and Rangers. Barb enjoyed many jobs, however most of her working career was with Old Fashion Foods where she made many friends and enjoyed many of her special “customers”. Barb will be forever remembered for her love of family whether researching family history, capturing special events with her talent of cross stitching, or attending family celebrations. Her endless positive outlook, the constant smile and her desire to always see the good in people will be sadly missed. Barb was extremely talented in sewing, crafts, cooking and gardening. She participated as a volunteer with Government House, Lakeview United Church, canvassing and was a regular attendee at Christian Women’s. Barb loved many things - a devoted Saskatchewan Roughriders season ticket holder, country music attending Craven every year and her beloved dogs, Scamp and Blackie.
