Obituary of Elsie Florence Hogan
It was a beautiful sunny evening on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 when Elsie lost her 91 year battle with life, with her children by her side. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1992 and is survived by one daughter Eileen (Neil) McIntyre of British Columbia; son Murray (Peggy) Hogan of Regina; four grandchildren, Katelyn (Joe) Zimmer, Emily McIntyre, Tim and Ryan Hogan; and brother Ken Moens of Regina. Elsie loved her family, clothing, shoes and happy hour. Memories of her Sunday dinners, and especially her amazing apple pie, will be fondly remembered. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to Remy Feliciano and all the staff at the Cherished Hearts Personal Care Home for the love and exceptional care they showed Elsie during her five and a half years living there. Elsie missed her last hair appointment, but she passed away wearing her pink nail polish! At Elsie’s request, there will be a Private Family Interment. Friends wishing to do so may make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Avenue, Regina, S4P 3X1.
