Obituary of Florence LaVallee

FLORENCE LAVALLEE July 15, 1923 – July 5, 2014 Florence went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 90 years. She will be remembered as a devoted mother who loved her children unconditionally and was always there for them in their time of need. Florence had a generous heart. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew; three sons, William, Lawrence and Dennis; one daughter Judy; her parents, Alfred and Mabel; and four brothers, Horace, Albert, Clarence and Clifford Taypotat. Florence is survived by three sons, Bruce (Serena), Alvis and Allan; three daughters, June (Gerald) Schuman, Freida LaVallee (Ernie Paik), and Florette LaVallee (Alfred Richard); as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a sister Vesta Isaac and brother Lyle Taypotat. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at IMCF, 3131 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK beginning at 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Gateway Christian Fellowship, 1812 Arthur Street, Regina on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
