Obituary of Geraldine McKenzie

GERALDINE MCKENZIE (Pelletier) Geraldine (Buttons) “Evening Star Woman”, late of Regina, SK passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the age of 59 years. She was predeceased by her sisters, Diane, Geri and Esther; niece Patricia; and great-grandchild Shyeriah. Leaving to mourn is her husband Brad McKenzie; parents, Christopher Ironchild and Mary-Jane Tukanow; children, Tyrese Pelletier, Topper (Lisa) Pelletier, Lonette Pelletier, Donnell Pelletier, Weazy Kaiswatum and Dorie Pelletier; brothers, Michael (Brenda), Murray (Terry), John, Ervin, Sheldon (Colleen) and Roy; sister Sharon (Raymond); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special nieces Crystal, Laura, Tanya, Samantha and Melissa and special nephews; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. A Wake will be held at Piapot First Nation on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. A Traditional Funeral will be held at the same location on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Riverside Memorial Park. A Feast will follow at Piapot First Nation, officiated by traditional Elders. The family would like to thank the staff on the ICU unit at the Pasqua Hospital. Flowers are greatly appreciated.
