Obituary of Doris Klein

DORIS KLEIN It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doris Gertrude Klein, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away with family by her side, on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the age of 78. Doris was the oldest of eight children born to Arthur and Emily Gemmell. She was born on May 6, 1936 in Findlater, SK. Doris went to school in Findlater. She then went to work as a nurse’s aide in nursing homes. Doris enjoyed camping, gardening, music, dancing and just visiting with friends and family. She was predeceased by her son Kelly; sisters Carol and Irene; and brother Ken. Doris is survived by her husband Felix; sisters, Margaret, Lynn and Joy; brother Keith; children, Gary (Debbie), Leonard, Rick (Cheryl), Cindy (Eric) and David; stepsons, Randy (Sheila), Glen (Brenda), Ronnie (Jocelyn), Rodney, Kelvin and Blair; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A Come-and-Go Gathering will follow from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, then proceeding to Findlater Cemetery for the interment.
