Irene and family,
You likely won't remember my family or I but from 1983 to 1986 and again from 1988 to 1990, my children Abby, Sabrina and Tommy and I lived kiddie-corner from you at 1217 Runciman Crescent while you were living on the corner of Ratner and Runciman.
Raymond was always so friendly and kind to us and over the years since we moved, we would often fondly see Ray and Irene, walking hand in hand. It always warmed our hearts.
We are so sorry to learn of Ray's passing. He was a sweet neighbour and a very, very kind man. My kids are grown up now and all in their 30's, but they remember him letting them have strawberries from the garden, and always being grandfatherly to them.
I am praying for God to comfort you all and to give you the peace that passes all understanding at this difficult time. Please accept my children's and my sincere condolences and sympathy.
Blessings,
Lauri McQuaid (formerly Lauri Randall)
(and Abby, Sabrina and Tommy)
