Obituary of Shirley Eileen MacBean

SHIRLEY EILEEN MACBEAN April 10, 1929 – July 26, 2014 Shirley Eileen MacBean (née Jones) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 26, 2014. She was deeply loved by her husband Bun (Wayne) of 62 years. Shirley leaves to mourn her children, Duna (Dale) Bayley, Judi (John) Argan and Sherri (Tim) Gross; daughter-in-law, Sylvia MacBean; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as many other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; siblings, Stewart, Bill, Keith, Inez and Bev; and her beloved son Scott. Special thanks to friends who sent cards and dropped in to visit, as well as Dr. Ene, the staff of 3E and the palliative care nurses and physicians at Regina General Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at the Regina Beach Memorial Hall, 101 Centre Street, Regina Beach, SK on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Shirley, may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 1 – 2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 6A8.
