Obituary of Audrey Ann Robinson

AUDREY ROBINSON October 20, 1933 July 10, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our much loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Audrey Robinson, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the age of 78 years. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2001, and granddaughter Sandi Rudd. She is survived by her daughters, Heather (Joe) Schemenauer, Monnie (Jim) Rudd, Sherrie (Gord) Pohl; sons Phil Robinson, Cam (Delphine) Robinson; grandchildren Evan (great grandchildren Daryna & Vasyli), Wade (great granddaughter McKenna), Ryan (Matina) Schemenauer, Tracy Carter (great grandson Cailin), Bryan Rudd (fiance Erin), Michelle (Darren) Hiibner, Erika Smith and Adam (Vicki) Smith. Also surviving are her sister Evelyn Phillips; and sister-in-law Louise Phillips of Moose Jaw; and special neighbour and friend Lawrence Keys. The Robinson family enjoyed a strong bond with the sport of five pin bowling. Audrey bowled in the Thursday afternoon ladies league at the Bolorama Lanes for 49 years and was also well known there by many youth as the YBC supervisor and coach. After her children were grown, she took on the role of looking after the little ones at the nursery while their mothers bowled. Her children fondly remember fun-filled camping trips the family went on. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, going on casino trips and baking special treats for the grandchildren. At Audreys request, no funeral service will be held and a Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later date. The family wish to thank the ICU and CSU nursing staff at the Pasqua Hospital for the wonderful care they provided to Mom prior to her passing.
