Obituary of Lottie Evelyn Cameron

With her family by her side, Lottie Cameron passed away at Crescent Gardens in Surrey, BC on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the age of 101 years. Lottie was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend, relative, grandmother and great-grandmother who lived life her way, with faith, love, enthusiasm and laughter. She enjoyed fashion, music, theatre, picnics, parades, travel, coffee with pizza, watching NHL hockey, being a secretary, teaching Sunday school, the UCW and singing with choirs in the United Church. Lottie touched many people’s lives and was an inspiration for her strength and ability to support those when it was needed. Predeceased by her husband Alexander; parents Ed and Annie Johnson; and brother Raymond, Lottie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Joy (Gordon)Berenson and son Ronald (Darlene) Cameron; grandchildren, Kelly Wascher, Sandie Berenson, Gordie Berenson, Russell (Jill) Berenson, Jennefer (Rob) Siwik and Jocelyn Cameron; great-grandchildren, Miles and Dani Rae Wascher; Madelyn and Blake Berenson, Cameron Sieglinger; Hannah, Nicholas and Olivia Berenson; Keila and Mirah Siwik; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their extended families. Funeral Service will be held at the RCMP Regina Depot Chapel, 6101 Dewdney Avenue on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the caregivers at Crescent Gardens while it was “home” since 2010 for Lottie and more particularly to Peace Arch Hospital and Crescent Gardens during her last few days. In lieu of flowers, a donation made in Lottie’s memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
