Obituary of Joan Elaine Lees

Joan Elaine Lees, passed away peacefully February 21, 2015 at Grace Hospice in Regina. She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Merrill (Bob) Williams; son Fred (Carmen); grandchildren, Shane, Shannon, Jeremy and Sabina as well as nieces and friends. Mom was also loved as a mother and grandma by our extended family from the Philippines and will be deeply missed by them as well. Born in London, England, survived the Blitz, married a dashing Canadian soldier named Jack Lees, moved to Regina and raised two great children. Joan kept a beautiful yard, enjoyed the simple things in life and loved her family. A life well lived. Joan’s family would like to thank all those in the Health Region who endeavored to make her life more full, especially those in the Palliative Care and at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
