Obituary of Lawrence William Gallagher

Larry was born August 12, 1926 in Gull Lake, SK the youngest of three boys, and died peacefully at Santa Maria on February 19, 2015. For 66 years, husband of beloved Rose Letitia. Loved father of Garry Robert of Vancouver. Cherished grandpa of Chandra Kalle (Pernilla) and great grandpa of Mattias and Raya of Kalmar, Sweden. Uncle of Shannon Dorothy Gallagher (Ken) of Calgary. Predeceased by his brothers Robert and Garry and parents Adlai and Dorothy. Larry moved to Regina in 1942 and began a long successful career in the automotive industry, including many years with Chrysler Canada. His dedication and integrity were renowned. He retired from Custom Truck in 1991 after 16 years as a Kenworth truck warranty specialist. Larry enjoyed home and refinishing projects in his workshop and was passionate about classic cars, golf, music and dancing, which he continued well into his retirement. The family commends the Santa Maria staff for their great patience and care and to attentive physician, Dr. A. Gruszczynski. A reception will be held at 5:00 p.m. on June 28, 2015 at the family home to commemorate a life well lived.
