Obituary of Alison Watson

ALISON J. WATSON Alison, late of Regina, SK passed away at Sunset Extendicare on Thursday, July 12, 2012. She was born April 19, 1928, and made Regina her home her entire life. Alison grew up in the Cathedral area where she attended Connaught School and was active in St. Mary's Anglican Church. She also attended St. Chad's Girls School. Much of her working life was spent in the medical records department at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic. Throughout her life, Alison was very involved with St. John Ambulance, Girl Guides, the Regina Horticultural Society, and the Monarchist League of Canada. Alison spent many Sunday afternoons volunteering at Wascana Hospital. She loved to travel and loved to learn, taking numerous classes through the U of R Life Long Learning Centre. Alison was an only child and had no children of her own, however she was a 'special aunt' to, and is survived by, Heather Lowe, Zehner, SK; Ian Maclean, Hornby Island, BC; and Janice Kerr, Regina, SK. Her generosity and love to our family will always be remembered. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 15th Avenue and Montague Street on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
