Obituary of Kathleen Agnes Freestone

KATHLEEN AGNES KAY? FREESTONE It is with great sadness the family mourns the passing of a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Kay passed away peacefully at the Regina Lutheran Home on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles Charlie? in 1980; grandson Dustin in 1983; parents Kathleen and Alfred Poole; brother-in-law Bert Dollard; and sister-in-law Kathleen Poole. Kay is survived by her loving family and friends; daughters: Sybil (Dennis) Nugent, Regina and Bev (Ron) Wood, Odessa; son Alfred (Lucepina) Freestone, Regina; grandchildren: Kelly (Darin) Sandor, Chad (Stacey) Wood, Jayson Nugent, Nichole (Rob) Knoll, Candi Wood (Sean Bonin), Angela Freestone (Scott Lischynski), Amber Wood (Bryan Lenz), Sabrina Freestone, Shawn Freestone; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers: George Poole and Earl (Margaret) Poole; sister Mary Dollard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered for her love of baking and crocheting afghans. The family would like to thank the staff at the Regina Lutheran Home for their compassion and care of their beloved mother. A Celebration of Kays Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Fingas officiating.
