Obituary of Lynne Billingsley

Billingsley, Lynne (Hanlon) May 8, 1948 - May 8, 2011 Lynne passed away peacefully at home, with her family at her side following a courageous and stoic battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Anne and Howard Hanlon. She will be lovingly remembered by all that knew her, especially her devoted husband of 40 years Dale, and children Brad (Dawn) Billingsley and Kim (Chad) Vickers, and her dog Kasi. Lynne was a dedicated and loving grandmother to Kieran and Connor Billingsley and Kadence, Carys and Mataya Vickers. Lynne was a true friend and sister to Donna (Gord) Waldbauer, Bev (Shane) Jaffary and Wayne (Diane) Billingsley. She will be dearly missed by her niece and nephews. The family wishes to thank the homecare palliative nurses (Jill, Jan, Dawn and Therese) for their kind and compassionate care, as well as Dr. Dolatta at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre. Lynne was a quiet, kind, gentle soul who would do anything for the people she loved. As per Lynnes request there will not be a funeral service. A Private Graveside Service will be held for the family.
