Obituary of Mark Evan Bannman

It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing of Mark at the age of 28. He was predeceased by his dad, Doug Bannman; grandparents Peggy and Al Bannman and Nick and Mary Machuik; uncles Allan Machuik, Joe Suwala and aunt Lillian Suwala. Mark is survived by mom Donna; brother Jeff; his Knobbe stepfamily (Lyle, Mike, Jo Anne, Sonia and Isaac Gonzalez, Candise and Jordan), and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Heartfelt thanks to cousin Kim and John Brogden who provided longtime support and assistance to Mark. Girlfriend, Sara Ann Henrion, was a tremendous companion and he truly enjoyed their time together. After graduating from Sheldon Williams Collegiate, Mark worked at SaskAbilities in the assembly department and later transferred to the Quality of Life program. Mark lived at Wascana Rehab where he received the personal care and support he needed. Mark found his faith and belonging as a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church family. He loved going to weekly services, friendship club and all the extra events at church. Although he had many challenges, he was outgoing and enjoyed attending many community events. Mark was well known around the city. His passion was drawing. He started at a very early age and became a talented artist specializing in superheros. We sincerely thank all his caregivers, staff and friends at Wascana, SaskAbilities and Hillsdale Baptist Church for providing Mark with excellent care and a great quality of life.
